NOTE:
Open Office is a software package that is used like Microsoft Office Suite which sells for several hundred dollars. I have used this program for the past two years on a couple of computers with no problems. It basically does everything that the Microsoft product does and more. It includes much more then just a text editor. Open office can be installed on a computer that already has any of the Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Access, etc., with no interference or compatibility issues.
