316.2085 Riding on motorcycles or mopeds.
The license tag of a motorcycle or moped must be permanently affixed to the vehicle and may not be adjusted or capable of being flipped up. No device for or method of concealing or obscuring the legibility of the license tag of a motorcycle shall be installed or used.

- Stiffer Penalties for at-fault injury or death of a motorcyclist.

- Stiffer Penalties for Right-of-Way Violations – the largest cause of property damage, injury and death.
- Restriction of devices causing distractions while driving – cell phones, text messaging, GPS use, etc.
- Re-instatement of Safety and Awareness funding – now considered available to spend in areas “other” then its lawful and intended use.

968 - Provides that a person who is convicted of a moving violation that causes or contributes to causing serious injury to or the death of a person riding a motorcycle commits a misdemeanor offense. Requires that the offender pay a specified fine, serve a minimum period of incarceration, and attend a driver improvement course. Requires the court to revoke the person's driver's license for a specified period, etc.
